Declaration 1 — Liability Acceptance
I am responsible for the flights I have done from Tahtali Mountain. Cable car management and Escape Paragliding management do not have any responsibility related to my flights. I accept the terms and conditions which are written by Escape Paragliding Company. I guarantee that the information given is true.
Declaration 2 — Tahtalı Mountain Single Pilots Flight's Terms and Conditions
TAHTALI MOUNTAIN SINGLE PILOTS FLIGHT'S TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Escape controls all paragliding flights from 2365m Tahtalı mountain.
- Flights are not allowed without informing Escape.
- Escape has the right to cancel any flight at any time due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or operational reasons.
- Before the flight, all single pilots are required to read and accept the following terms:
- Only P5 level or advance club pilot licence holders are allowed to fly.
- Pilots must provide a copy of their valid paragliding licence.
- It is forbidden to fly without visibility due to cloud cover.
- Flight instruments are required in cloudy conditions.
- Pilots cannot fly outside the Civil Aviation designated airspace boundaries.
- All pilots must comply with the NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) coordinates and altitude restrictions published for the Tahtalı Mountain paragliding zone.
- All pilots must use the designated cable car service to access the take-off area. Walking up to the take-off is strictly prohibited.
- Pilots must follow the cable car schedule and boarding rules set by the cable car management. Priority is given to tandem operations during peak hours.
- Landing is only permitted at the designated official landing area. Landing on the beach, on roads, on private property, or in any restricted area is strictly forbidden.
- Pilots must perform a thorough pre-flight equipment check including glider, harness, reserve parachute, helmet, and all safety gear before every flight.
- All pilots must carry a functioning radio tuned to the designated frequency and must be able to communicate with the Escape ground team during the flight.
- The designated radio frequency for Tahtalı operations is 143.850 MHz. All pilots must monitor this frequency throughout the flight.
- In case of emergency, pilots must contact Escape ground team immediately via radio. Emergency phone numbers: +90 242 825 00 56 (Escape office), 112 (Turkish emergency services).
- Acrobatic maneuvers, wing-overs, SAT, tumbling, or any other aerobatic flying is strictly prohibited within the Tahtalı flight zone.
- Flying under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that impairs judgment or reaction time is strictly prohibited.
- Pilots must respect the right of way rules. Tandem pilots and commercial operations have priority in the take-off queue and in the air.
- Maximum wind speed for take-off is 30 km/h. If wind speed exceeds this limit, all flights will be cancelled regardless of pilot experience.
- Pilots must land before sunset. Night flying is strictly prohibited.
- All pilots are responsible for their own insurance coverage. Escape Paragliding does not provide insurance for single pilots.
- Escape reserves the right to permanently ban any pilot who violates these terms and conditions from flying at Tahtalı Mountain.
- These terms and conditions are subject to change without prior notice. It is the pilot's responsibility to check for updates before each flight.
Declaration 3 — KVKK (Personal Data Protection)
KVKK AYDINLATMA METNİ — PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION NOTICE
Data Controller: ELITE TURIZM TICARET LTD
In accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 ("KVKK"), we hereby inform you about the processing of your personal data.
1. Purpose of Data Processing: Your personal data (name, surname, date of birth, nationality, contact information, address, emergency contact details, health information such as blood group, paragliding licence information, flight experience details, glider and equipment information, insurance details, digital signature, uploaded documents) is collected and processed for the following purposes:
- Evaluation and processing of your single pilot flight application;
- Ensuring flight safety and compliance with civil aviation regulations;
- Communication regarding your application status;
- Emergency contact in case of accidents or incidents during flights;
- Compliance with legal obligations and regulatory requirements;
- Record keeping for operational and statistical purposes;
- Insurance verification and claims processing if applicable.
2. Method of Data Collection: Your personal data is collected through this online application form, which you fill out voluntarily.
3. Legal Basis: Your personal data is processed based on:
- Your explicit consent (Article 5/1 of KVKK);
- Processing necessary for the performance of a contract (Article 5/2-c);
- Processing necessary for compliance with a legal obligation (Article 5/2-ç);
- Processing necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller (Article 5/2-f).
4. Transfer of Personal Data: Your personal data may be shared with:
- Cable car management (Olympos Teleferik) for access authorization;
- Turkish Civil Aviation Authority (SHGM) upon request;
- Emergency services in case of accidents;
- Insurance companies for claims processing;
- Legal authorities when required by law.
5. Data Retention Period: Your personal data will be retained for a minimum of 5 years from the date of your last flight activity, or longer if required by applicable legislation.
6. Your Rights under Article 11 of KVKK: As a data subject, you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is being processed;
- Request information about the processing if your data has been processed;
- Learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is being used in accordance with its purpose;
- Know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad;
- Request the rectification of incomplete or inaccurate data;
- Request the erasure or destruction of your personal data under the conditions set forth in Article 7 of KVKK;
- Request notification of the operations carried out pursuant to rectification, erasure, or destruction to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred;
- Object to the occurrence of a result against you by means of analysis of your processed data exclusively through automated systems;
- Claim compensation for damages arising from the unlawful processing of your personal data.
